African soccer site launches soon
A website focusing on African soccer and its players worldwide will be launched by football star Andre Dede Ayew, son of Abedi Pele, this week. The website plans to provide live football, interviews and news coverage across Africa.
Benedict Papa-Yaw Sarpong, CEO of Afrikansoccer.com, said: "This new soccer website for Africans and by Africans comes at a crucial moment in the continent's favourite game with the World Cup few days away.
