APO signs up VENRO, Common Fund for Commodities
DAKAR: The African Press Organisation has signed contracts with VENRO, the umbrella organisation of development non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Germany, and with the Common Fund for Commodities, a 106-member state international financial institution based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The contracts encompass the distribution of press releases and media advisories in Africa.
The press releases will be distributed on APO channels: APO Source, the online database of Africa-related press releases, as well as APO partners' websites. They will be subsequently sent to journalists by targeted emailing, using APO's media contacts' database on a country and topic basis. The press releases will also be sent to APO Source's RSS Feed and mailing list subscribers and will be available on Google.
"We are delighted to see that VENRO and the Common fund for commodities have decided to use APO's media relation services. The APO is committed to giving a large visibility of Africa-related information regarding various organisations and companies," said Jennipher Tambadou, business development manager of the APO.
