Telkom wants a bigger slice of Africa
Telkom, one of the continent's largest fixed-line operators, will continue to pursue ICT opportunities outside South Africa.
CEO Reuben September confirmed this following the release of the company's financial results for the six month period ending September 2008. He said this would be driven by Telkom's recent acquisitions in the continent.
Among companies that the South African firm has bought into include M-Web Africa and M-Web Namibia. “Telkom continues to pursue opportunities outside the borders of the
country,” September said.
