Ifra's new Arabic edition also available online

Ifra's international magazine on the technology and business of news publishing is now available with a special added section of Arab-region publishing news and other features written in Arabic. This new Arabic-enhanced edition is being made available in Ifra's ePaper format to newspaper publishers and their staffs throughout the Arab states in the Middle East and Northern Africa.

The first issue of the Arabic edition of IFRA Magazine is available online now at www.iframagazine.com/arabic.

This and the next few months' issues will be freely accessible without a subscription ID and password. After an introductory period, access will be available only to registered subscribers.

Free personal ePaper subscriptions to IFRA Magazine are available to all employees of Ifra-member media houses and member supplier companies in the region. For a limited period, non-members may obtain free 11-issue trial subscriptions using special offer code IFRAARABIC-E-1Y-NC.

Subscription applications can be submitted online at www.iframagazine.com/subscribe.

IFRA Magazine features globe-spanning in-depth editorial coverage of the latest trends and developments in media publishing and newspaper printing. The monthly trade journal is an essential information resource for publishing house executives, editors, technical staff and advertising/marketing managers worldwide.

The new Arabic-enhanced edition contains all the same detailed reports as the magazine's English, French, German and Spanish editions as researched by Ifra's staff of editor-analysts. In addition, it features a special section of Arabic news briefs and interviews produced by the Fareeda News Service based in Beirut, Lebanon.

The Arabic edition of IFRA Magazine is being distributed exclusively through a sophisticated and intuitive "page-turning" ePaper format that readers can access over the Internet on any computer and that they can read either online or off. IFRA Magazine ePaper incorporates some of the latest Web 2.0 technologies including social networking, dynamic bookmarking and notes, and hot-links to online resources, multimedia content and expanded material.

"Ifra is a global platform for the exchange of ideas, information and experiences among its members and other participants in the news publishing industry," said Ifra CEO Reiner Mittelbach. "Our magazine is one of our primary tools for accomplishing that mission."

Ifra's magazine is read by nearly 24,000 high-level publishing professionals in 77 countries. Ifra is a research-based global association dedicated to the future of the news publishing industry.
