Call for entries: IABC Africa Quill Award
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Africa Region has launched the new IABC Africa Quill Award. The competition will be synchronised with the international IABC Gold Quill Awards, in which members from the Africa Region have participated with increasing success in recent years.
There are 26 categories in which to enter. All submissions must have been produced and measured in 2007, although projects produced in 2006 may also be submitted, provided the work and/or measurements extend into 2007.
The deadline for entries is 18 September 2007, and winners will be announced on 9 October at a special Africa Quill Awards dinner taking place during the IABC Africa Regional Conference being held from 9 - 10 October 2007.
Entry fees are R300.00 per entry for members and R450.00 per entry for non-members. Entries that win a local Quill Award will automatically be submitted, at no extra cost, to the 2008 International Gold Quill Award round of judging.
Please visit www.iabc.co.za for all the category details as well as the ‘Call for Entries' document, or contact Cathy Fazey or Ann Farndell for more details. Important information about the specific format and contents for submissions can be found on the website.
