Virgin Active have launched their Quest programme for 2003, where members can win up to R1 million in cash for getting in shape. Health24.co.za have developed an interactive service allowing people to enter the competition and record their progress online. The tool allows people to instantly find out how many calories they’ve burned or how they rank against people from their local gym or within their age group. Internet-ready PC’s have been placed within top Virgin Active gyms, courtesy of M-Web, the sponsor of the programme, allowing people to update their records on the fly.
