Dave Chislett Publicity is very pleased to announce two new account gains for the new year. Independent record labels Bootcamp Records and Red Ambulance Records have both signed the specialty publicist up to leverage their small but growing stables of independent artists.
Bootcamp Records deal with Scarlet Box, The Roswell Kings and Sugardrive, while Red Ambulance is home to Fuzigish, and Cape Town punk act, Half Price.
Jay Bones, Red Ambulance spokesman and Fuzigish lead singer remarked that, "It is great to have Dave on board. He brings 15 years of music business experience to the table and offers way more than just a gig listing service for our bands."
With a full diary already planned for 2005, both of these record labels are aiming to export the rapidly changing landscape of the recording industry. In an environment where small, flexible labels are able to make good returns and punch above their weight, these two independents are hoping to establish a good foothold that will enable them to grow in to significant players over the next two years.
